Remote Control Car?

Using bluetooth to control a remote control car via (an Android) Smartphone.

Use accelerometer as an activator to command the RC Car:

to move forward, backward and stealing left and right

Lighting arrangement includes:

Headlights (manual on/off)

Rear Stop Light (when no commands are send)

Signals (when stealing is send)

◦ Today's date - April 3, 2012
◦ Today, what is the current highest risk part of your project?
⁃ The highest risk as of today is to finish the Arduino board with the bluetooth shield.
⁃ Also the power surprise will need to be rely on the a battery [ni-mh 650mah battery]
◦ what is your plan to alleviate that risk?
⁃ To finish the rest of the Arduino board.
◦ what is your plan to do for/in next class?
⁃ Put Arduino board on-board of the RC Car
⁃ Installs LED lights for the RC Car

◦ what actually happened?
⁃ Finish building Arduino Board output/input (16 socket)
⁃ Understood the steps of connecting the Bluetooth Module
◦ What will you do before the next class meeting?
⁃ Disassemble the RC Car and understand the circuit
⁃ Discover the lighting arrangements
⁃ Get ready and mark down all the connecting that needs to be bridge
◦ What problems did you run in to
⁃ lack of understanding
◦ What is your plan forward?
⁃ With the RC Car - to connect the Arduino with the RC Car's RX2/TX2 Realtek chip.
⁃ Able to test drive the RC car via an Android Phone in the next class.
◦ what parts, information, and assistance do you need ?
⁃ Parts
⁃ Batteries: Ni-Mh 650mAh [<9.6V]
⁃ LEDs: 6 White LEDs, 2Red LEDs
⁃ Assistance
⁃ Reassemble the RC car with my Arduino Board
⁃ Connecting with bluetooth
⁃ Lighting arrangement
